From Dawn to Dusk

Just a blog of a few pictures tonight; a nice easy blog for the weekend. Needless to say we have found ourselves a nice spot out in the country.
We are near to Stafford but for an exact location click on the "Where are we now" link on the right hand side of this page.

A misty morning marks the start of another day in retirement.

A collection of little people watching us from someone's garden as we cruise by.

Nice to see the old milestones are still in place on the Coventry canal.

One of the many idyllic rural moorings available along the canal system.

This wind turbine is being installed on a goat farm near Grendon. Yes America, I know this is a tiny toy compared to the size of the wind turbines installed on farms in the States.

Another new marina taking shape near bridge 85 at Streethay on the Coventry canal.

Crocuses! A sure sign the freeze is over and spring is on its way.

A bit slow with the camera; this is fellow blogger Kath on Bobcat as she passed us near Rugely.

The spires of Rugely: A coal fired power station.

If you rush through Rugely to pass the power station cooling towers, beware of this new BW speed camera on trial in a garden backing onto the canal!

We started with a misty morning so we finish with a sunset, and a new hung moon.
